Training Modules

In this online only module, you will learn about the History of Hospice Palliative Care, and the History of our own Mission Hospice Society

On our first evening of training, we will be covering Self Care, Boundaries & Stress Management, Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities.  Please review Module Two, online curriculum prior to arriving.

In this full day of training, we will be covering Module Three – Pain and Symptom Management, and Module Four – The Needs of the Dying and their Family.

In our final session, we will review MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying), a guest panel of volunteers will speak about their experiences, both positive and negative, and we will present certificates.
