Welcome to Modules Three & Four!

Pain and Symptom Management & The Dying Process, Needs of the Family

In this training session, we will review the needs of the dying and their families, as well as pain and symptom management in hospice palliative care and at home.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of Module Three, the volunteers will understand:

1. 1. The cycle of care.
   2. Pain Management in home and in hospice. What is total pain?
   3. Fears of the dying, and the needs of the dying and their family.
