HERITAGE TO HATZIC 5 & 10K RACE

Welcome back to the Heritage to Hatzic 5 & 10 K Run taking place this year live on April 7th, 2024 at 9 AM. This is Mission’s very own Sun Run and our goal is to raise $5000 or more for the Mission Hospice Society so they can help meet the needs of our community! Last year we raised $8414.62!

This year we will be starting and finishing at Heritage Middle School at 33700 Prentice Ave, Mission BC. The route will run a down to the park and then head out to Hatzic before returning to the park and the finish line up at the school. This course is relatively flat and has some fantastic views of the Fraser River and Valley. We will have prizes for the fastest runners and those who raise the most for the Hospice!!

However if you are not ready for a in person event feel free to join our VIRTUAL RACE as well. Run a route in your neighborhood and submit a time and picture as well to support this event.. Walk or run the key is to get out and move! Run any time or any where from April 1 to 10th.

This year there is a free race shirt if you sign up by March 15th!! Make sure you choose your size when you register!

Package Pick-Up and late registration will be at Wentings Cycle Shop on Thursday April 4th from 3 to 5 PM. You can pick up your race number and race shirt (if you sign up by March 15th)!

Or you can pick up on race morning near the start line just outside the gym at Heritage Middle School from 8 to 8.45 AM

Mission Hospice Society and Fraser Health invites you to attend Advance Care planning workshop that will take place June 28 from 1pm to 3pm. Free to the public.

2023 Hike for Hospice happens September 24th.

Back at the Park for 2023: Enjoy an easy walk along the path at Fraser River Heritage Park.

Registration begins at 10:00. Registration fee is $25.00 per participant. Fee is waived if participant collects over $200.00 in pledges!

Join Mission Hospice for a ride/drive through the beautiful eastern Fraser Valley in support of compassionate, end of life care and bereavement programs in our community.

Everyone is welcome to participate – 2 wheels, 3 wheels or 4 wheels and more. Registration is $40.00 per Vehicle/Driver and $25.00 per Passenger.

10:00 a.m. – Registration begins at the Historic Dewdney Pub (8793 River Road S. Dewdney)

10:30 a.m. – Ride departs with Poker Run stops at the Sasquatch Inn, Agassiz and Mountainview Harley in Chilliwack.

12:30 p.m. – Lunch and Prizes at the Dewdney Pub between 12:30 and 2:00 p.m.

Collect pledges and Ride in memory of your lost loved one, or simply join us for a beautiful day and ride/drive in the Fraser Valley. Prizes for Most Pledges Collected, Best & Worst Poker Hands and Door Prizes!
