Bereavement Support Groups
At Mission Hospice Society, we offer compassionate support for individuals and families grieving the loss of a loved one. Our Bereavement Support Groups provide safe, understanding spaces where adults, teens, and children can share their experiences, express emotions, and find comfort among others who understand.
Each group is guided by trained facilitators who provide emotional support, education, and practical tools for coping with grief. Separate groups are available for different age ranges and needs, ensuring that everyone receives care appropriate to their stage of life and experience.
Please see below for our current available bereavement support groups.

Adult Bereavement Groups
Mission Hospice Society offers free bereavement support for adults in the Mission community who are coping with the loss of a loved one. Support begins with a one-on-one conversation with our Adult Bereavement Coordinator to understand your needs and help guide you toward the most helpful resources. Depending on what feels right for you, ongoing individual or group support is available.
Our services are open to anyone in the community, regardless of age or the circumstances of the loss. Through programs such as memorial services, walking support groups, specialized loss groups, and individual or group sessions, we aim to provide a supportive space where people can navigate grief and connect with others who understand.
