Learning Outcomes

By the end of Module Nine, the volunteers will have:

1. An understanding of the family ‘dance’ and how the dynamics can impact the patient, and an overview of the impact on families who have a family member in Hospice Care.
2. How cultural competency influences palliative care and support.
